Victoria is a Master’s student in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at the Universidad Latina de Panamá, Panamá. Her undergraduate research was titled “anti-phospholipids IgM levels in health care workers with latent tuberculosis infection in Colon Province, Panama.”
In the Av-Gay lab, Victoria is working in the identification of modes of action of selected compounds against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
In her spare time, she likes to visit new places and new countries and learn about their traditions and gastronomy.
